Dude, that sounds like a awesome day! I had a blast reading that one. Sounds like you played really well... and now I'm scared about the invitational.

I have to say, that was a fun hand. For me of course. I felt bad for the aces, but my kings were sweeeeet.

Aggression ( tight or loose) is a pretty good strategy in online. It isn't great and you should only be "loose" when you can afford it and you have the other guys betting strategy down. The trick is playing a aggressive player. I have found that tight passive to passive usually works. He will do most of the betting, leaving your table persona of passive intact. And generally as long as you don't get loose ( unless he's on tilt, imho) you can take a big stab out of his money with a win. Then you have to notice his discipline. This is when you turn aggressive again.

I dunno... statistically speaking, the odds are against the chasers... this could actually be the best time to stay and play.

$5+.50 18 man is a good game...requires discipline and tight play, though, especially on weeknights. I came in 2nd in one last night as a matter of fact. The idiots went early, but there we're only 4 or 5 of them...the rest of the field we're pretty solid players.

I'd love to see a discussion about the Friday Night Factor...when the morons come out of the woodwork. I find that it's just not worth my time or money to play until VERY late, because of all the fools who chase and get lucky on the river, etc. Any thoughts on this phenomenon?
